Da-Ging
was suppose to immediately walk to English school once we got home,
but he gave the excuse that he couldn’t go the bathroom and
that he had to go. For most of the rest of the afternoon, I relaxed,
went online, watched TV, and studied for the GRE. During this time,
my uncle came home temporarily to pick up a pair of sneakers to go
jogging with his company. When Da-Ging and aunt finally came home,
Da-Ging seemed very upset. My aunt explained to me later that the
English school just recently hired a new teacher and the teacher was
unfair toward Da-Ging. Oh well, that’s life. Anyway, my aunt
and I then went to go get Italian pasta for dinner and I decided that
I would be the one to pay for it. The meal was pretty good. Supposedly,
the owner of the pasta restaurant was a cello player who specialized
in making Italian pasta, hence the name of the restaurant, Cello Pasta.
After dinner, we all took grandma back to her apartment and we went
off to site see a little more. My uncle wanted to do so because it
was going to be his last day to see me since he was going to go on
a business trip the next day. We first went to the Grand Hotel which
sat atop a mountain. It was very elegant and beautiful to look at.
Its beauty amazed me. We took some pictures outside and then we toured
the lobby. The lobby was truly inspiring to behold. No wonder it was
a five star hotel! There were exhibits on both sides with unique sculptures
encased in glass.

In the center was a beautiful assortment of flowers
inside a huge vase. All in all, a beautiful view indeed. I took
several pictures and taped a lot of the lobby. Da-Quan seemed to
like playing the lion and crawled on the floor a lot. We also went
inside a little more to look at the gift shop and other places.
After the hotel, we tried to go the night market.
Unfortunately, the place was packed and parking was hard to find.
So, we just gazed at the crowd of people shopping at the night market.
The place truly was crowded. Since we couldn’t go to the night
market, we decided to go to this park to take some more pictures.
The park was nice and beautiful. We could see the grand hotel in
the distance and we took pictures of it. During this time, my second
uncle and his wife called from Taichung to wish me a safe trip back
to California. I thanked them a lot for their hospitality. So afterward,
we went to the mango shop, where I had my first mango treat, to
buy some more Iced Mango. It really did taste the same as the one
we went to the day before! So, that was the day. The last day is
tomorrow. It went by quick!
