I found them to be very amusing and nostalgic. Daniel was chubby back
then and I was a dork. The clips of me playing the violin and of Daniel
swing dancing were classic. Da-Quan wanted to see his movies and so
I let him, once I was finished.
We ate dinner at aunt’s place and had the crab, which I thought
tasted very good, even though it had been reheated. Afterward, I played
ping-pong with Da-Ging. Since we didn’t have a ping-pong table,
we just hit the ping-pong ball back and forth with our paddles. We
had a grand time volleying the ball, though it was difficult. Da-Ging
and Da-Quan are still trying to dribble the ball by using the paddle
to keep hitting it into the air. My aunt decided that we should go
out and rent videos, and so we walked to the nearest Blockbuster video
store and rented two movies; The Time Machine and Spy Games. Da-Quan
came along with us and made a lot of noise in the store. On the way
back, there were some people dressed in odd clothing mourning the
death of a loved one. My aunt told me that they mourned for several
days and dressed like that 24-7. Anyway, I watched The Time Machine
while my aunt and uncle went to fix the motorcycle. I looked after
Da-Ging and Da-Quan. Not surprisingly, they were noisy and Da-Quan
started crying after falling down but I eventually calmed him down.
They went to bed and I finished up the movie and also went to bed,
drawing an end to Thursday.
